Bamboo Fiber Printed Baby Romper, Double-Zipper Jumpsuit for 0-24 Months Infants

An overseas customer (****** company) purchased a total of 12,000 pieces of bamboo fiber baby zip-up pajamas, shipped in two 40-foot containers. During random inspection upon arrival, the customer found that approximately 3,600 pieces had obvious color differences, and some batches of fabric showed pilling after friction, failing to meet the customer's original sample approval standards. The customer raised a quality complaint, demanding a full return of the entire batch and compensation for air freight, sorting costs, and losses from delayed shelf placement. After verification by our quality inspection team, the color difference issue was caused by an abnormality in the temperature control equipment during the yarn dyeing process, leading to color deviation between different batches of fabric in the same vat; the pilling issue was related to insufficient heat-setting temperature in the finishing process of one batch. This problem is attributed to our production quality control deficiencies, and the customer's complaint is valid.

Our company immediately established a dedicated after-sales team, conducted remote video inspection with the customer, and retained samples to confirm the affected batch range. After negotiation, we agreed to a full refund for 3,600 pajamas with color deviation and pilling issues, and to bear the sea freight and import clearance costs for the returns. At the same time, we urgently arranged for the factory to prioritize production, re-manufacturing 5,000 compliant units using the same process and color code, and shipped them by air to the customer to alleviate their sales stockout pressure. Regarding the customer's claims for air freight price differences, local sorting labor costs, and losses from shelving delays, after verifying the relevant documents, we granted the customer a discount compensation equivalent to 8% of the total order value, to be credited against the next order. All return and replenishment processes were completed within 30 working days, with inspection reports and shipping photos provided throughout for the customer's records.
