Bamboo Fiber Baby Onesie Batch Color Difference And Pilling Issue Return/exchange Case
An overseas customer (****** company) purchased a total of 12,000 pieces of bamboo fiber baby zip-up pajamas, shipped in two 40-foot containers. During random inspection upon arrival, the customer found that approximately 3,600 pieces had obvious color differences, and some batches of fabric showed pilling after friction, failing to meet the customer's original sample approval standards. The customer raised a quality complaint, demanding a full return of the entire batch and compensation for air freight, sorting costs, and losses from delayed shelf placement. After negotiation, we agreed to a full refund for 3,600 pajamas with color deviation and pilling issues, and to bear the sea freight and import clearance costs for the returns. At the same time, we urgently arranged for the factory to prioritize production, re-manufacturing 5,000 compliant units using the same process and color code, and shipped them by air to the customer to alleviate their sales stockout pressure.
