An internationally renowned chain supermarket (customer name masked: ***) ordered 500,000 sets of custom plastic food storage containers through our company, with a value of approximately USD 1.2 million. The products need to fit their automatic filling line, with extremely high requirements for dimensional accuracy, sealing performance, and temperature resistance. After the first batch arrived at the port, the customer reported that about 3% of the sealing ring grooves had slight dimensional deviations, causing frequent stoppages in the automatic sealing process, and some batches showed slight deformation after high-temperature disinfection, affecting subsequent sales. The customer requires us to immediately arrange an on-site technical support team to their overseas factory to investigate and resolve the issue; otherwise, they will face a full batch return and substantial claims.

Our company urgently assembled a 6-person on-site technical support team consisting of injection molding process engineers, mold designers, and quality engineers, and flew to the customer's overseas factory within 48 hours (address redacted: ***). On-site, we conducted a full-process, item-by-item inspection of production line molds, injection molding parameters, cooling processes, and seal ring assembly techniques. We found that the slot deviation was due to mold cavity wear not being compensated in time before leaving the factory, while the deformation issue was related to the customer's local high-temperature, high-humidity storage environment and insufficient cooling time. The team adjusted mold dimensional tolerances on-site, optimized the injection molding cycle and cooling water temperature, redesigned the seal ring assembly fixture, and provided standardized operation training to the customer's production line staff. We then followed up on continuous production of 100,000 units with no abnormalities.
