After negotiation with the customer, our company has reached the following solution: 1) All remaining unused 8,500 square meters of breathable film and 2,100 rolls of butyl tape from this batch will be returned to our Ningbo warehouse; 2) We will bear the return and import customs clearance costs, and rearrange production for an urgent order, free of charge, to reship 12,000 square meters of waterproof breathable film and 3,000 rolls of butyl tape of the same specifications, upgraded with low-temperature-resistant adhesive; 3) We will compensate the customer USD 18,500 for direct labor and machinery rental costs incurred due to work stoppage and rework; 4) Before shipment of the new batch, a third-party SGS will conduct full testing of adhesion and peel strength, and only after a qualified report is issued will sea freight be arranged, with quality insurance coverage.

A Middle Eastern building contractor purchased a batch of building waterproof breathable membrane through our company (12,000 rolls in total, specification 1.5m × 50m), for use in roof system construction of multiple local villa clusters and commercial complexes. The customer reported that during installation, after on-site cutting, the actual width of the membrane was found to have a positive deviation of approximately 2cm from the nominal 1.5m (measured width 1.52m), causing conflicts with the overlap dimensions of metal pressure strips and breathable tape, reducing construction speed by about 30%, and resulting in waste of some already-cut material.
